About Us

Hi, I’m Tasha

I completed my floristry course in 2019 and very much threw myself in at the deep end, setting up my business from a little cabin at the bottom of my garden. It was a huge step, but one I was excited to take. Not long after, Covid arrived, and with two children suddenly at home, it became an incredibly challenging time. Despite everything, the business continued to grow from strength to strength, and my love for floristry only deepened.

Over the years, Ella and I often found ourselves helping each other out, sharing ideas and supporting one another whenever needed. In February 2024, we decided it was time to join forces — and that’s when Willow & Ivy Florist was born. Combining our skills and experience felt like a natural step, and I’m so excited about what the future holds.

Outside of floristry, I love keeping active and enjoy running, walking, and generally staying fit. When I’m not on the go, you’ll usually find me spending time with my four-legged best friend, Spud the Frenchie, who keeps me smiling and on my toes. Family time is also hugely important to me, and I love balancing work with life at home with my two children.

We love a challenge and are happy to turn our hands to just about anything, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your ideas — we’d love to hear from you.

A Bit About Me, Ella

My floristry journey began in 1994, when I joined Sparsholt College in Winchester at the age of 16. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside florists from all over the world, learning and growing every step of the way. I truly believe you never stop learning, especially in an industry where styles and trends are constantly evolving. I love pushing myself creatively and taking on new challenges.

The biggest leap of all came in June 2020, when I decided to start my own business. It was an uncertain and often daunting time, but I gave it everything I had. Thanks to the most amazing and supportive customers, the business is still going strong today — something I’m incredibly grateful for.

In February 2024, I was delighted to join forces with Tasha, and I’m so excited about the journey ahead as we continue to grow Willow & Ivy together.

When I’m not surrounded by flowers, you’ll usually find me looking after my chickens and ducks or heading off to play netball — both of which I absolutely love and help me switch off and recharge.

I hope you enjoy exploring our website, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your ideas — however weird and wonderful they may be. We’d love to hear from you.
